Abigail Fredrickson

Hola, hello, greetings, aloha, bonjour, nǐ hǎo, kon’nichiwa, and hi!  My name is Abigail Fredrickson.  I’m an aspiring author starting the journey of getting my stories out into the world, and I’ve made this blog as a starting point and as a way to share the things I’ve learned along the way.

I’m seventeen; I have three younger siblings, and one of my top favorite things in the world to do is write.  My favorite and preferred genre is fantasy fiction with little bits of other genres sprinkled in.

The first book I’ll be sharing with you is Tigress.  The first post after this one should be a sort of preview into the main character’s life before the main events of the story take place.  Sort of a way to make sure y’all know what you’re getting into.

Besides my books and stories and art, I will be sharing little things I’ve learned about writing.  From worldbuilding to creating characters to plot and different tropes, I hope to cover a lot and provide something useful for other writers.

I want to be able to interact with all of you, so comments should be open for all my posts, and my email should be at the bottom of every page.  I welcome questions and suggestions and requests alike, alongside simply sharing your thoughts on a subject or piece of content.  That said, crude or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated on my blog.  I want this to be a safe and supportive place for others. (Constructive criticism does not fall under the category of ‘not-tolerated’ so long as it is imparted with awareness, discretion, and with the understanding that it should be constructive.)
